The MouthPad^ can connect with any device that accepts a Bluetooth mouse. You can save the MouthPad^ with many devices, but it can only connect to one device at a time.

What do the on-device LED lights mean?

The MouthPad^ features two side capsules, both with LED status indicators. The RED light on the thicker capsule (the one inserted into the charger) shows charging status. The BLUE / GREEN lights on the opposite capsule show Bluetooth connection status and device state.

Connect to a device

When connecting your MouthPad^ to a device, it is best to follow the process below (waiting until device connection is confirmed before placing the MouthPad^ inside the mouth):

1. Verify the MouthPad^ is advertising as indicated by a BLUE blinking light in the side capsule.
   • If the device is not advertising, slightly move or “wiggle” the MouthPad^. If it is charged but sleeping, this will wake it up.
2. Go to your device’s Bluetooth Settings.
3. Find your Bluetooth MouthPad^ device and click to connect.
   1. Accept any request to Pair to the device.
   2. Successful connection will result in a GREEN blinking light in the side capsule.

4. Finally, place the connected MouthPad^ on your upper jaw.

Now that your MouthPad^ is paired with this device, it will reconnect automatically anytime it comes into range of this device.

A quick tip on switching between devices: If you ever want to connect your MouthPad^ to a new computer, tablet, or smartphone, you may need to disconnect or disable Bluetooth on the previously paired device, or “remove device” from that device’s Bluetooth settings, before pairing to a new one. (We’re working on making device-switching even easier in the future!)

The MouthPad^ acts as a standard Bluetooth connection, and should be disconnected as you would any other device.

Charging your MouthPad^

Your MouthPad^ charging case is powered by one USB-A to USB-C cable, included in your order, which plugs into a USB-A receptacle, wall-wort, hub, laptop, etc.

To use the charging case, press the release tab on the top and the sides will spring open. Be sure to align the (thicker) capsule of the MouthPad^ to the groove in the charging case base **so that it can close without obstruction. Plug in the USB-C end of your charging cable and look for a RED **light **on the MouthPad^ capsule inserted in the charger groove.

• A solid RED light on the MouthPad^ indicates that the device is charging normally.

Next to the MouthPad^ charger’s USB-C port is the charger’s LED indicator, which reflects connection to power and MouthPad^ charging status, outlined below.

What do the charging case LED lights mean?

For the safety and longevity of the battery, please charge your MouthPad^ in room-temperature conditions and store the device in the provided case, unplugged once charging is complete.
