What do the on-device LED lights mean?
- No Led Lights —————————————————> MouthPad^ is asleep
- Blinking Blue -—————————————————> MouthPad^ is looking for connections
- Blinking Green -————————————————> MouthPad^ is connected via Bluetooth
- Solid Green ——————————————————> MouthPad^ is paused
- Blinking Red —————————————————-> MouthPad^ is charging
- Solid Red ———————————————————> MouthPad^ is fully charged
The MP can connect with any device that accepts a bluetooth mouse. You can connect and save the MP in many devices, but it can only connect to one device at a time.
Connect to a device
When connecting your MouthPad^ to a device, it is best to follow this process:
- Verify the MouthPad^ is advertising as indicated by a
BLUE
blinking light in the side capsule.
- If the device is not advertising, give it a small shake. If it is charged but sleeping this will wake it up.
- Place the unconnected MouthPad^ on your upper jaw.
- Go to your device’s Bluetooth Settings.
- Remove your tongue from the MouthPad^ entirely.
- Avoid making contact until connected and paired.
- Find your Bluetooth MouthPad^ device and click to connect.
- Accept any request to Pair to the device.
- Successful connection will result in a
GREEN
blinking light in the side capsule (this will be difficult to see given it is in your mouth).
Now that your MouthPad^ is paired with this device, it will reconnect automatically anytime it comes into range of this device.
Disconnect
The MouthPad^ acts as a standard bluetooth connection, and should be disconnected as you would any other device.
Mac Example
Pair to your Mac as you would pair any new bluetooth device.
