Hello!

Thank you for considering taking scans for our clients. The MouthPad^ is an intraoral device that enables hands-free control of phones, tablets, and computers ****through tongue and head gestures. Here’s a quick demo, and here are stories from our awesome users.

To design the MouthPad^, we require a full intraoral 3D scan (including the palate), and a copy of the .STL file.

  1. We require an intraoral 3D scan (iTero, Trios, etc., not a CBCT!) of the following:
  2. We need separate files per arch, oriented in occlusion.
  3. Please export the .STL file so it can be uploaded to the form below or emailed to your patient. (As a small startup, our lab is not yet registered with the large scanning companies; We appreciate this extra step!) Find documentation on this brief process for common scanners below:

iTero users: You may need to turn off an “auto-cleanup” feature on your scanner that prevents imaging of the palate. See section 10.6.4 of the iTero manual here.
