Please handle your MouthPad^ with care. To prevent damage to your device, always store your MouthPad^ in its case when not in use. (Dogs have been known to chew the device!)
We recommend against eating or drinking anything other than water while wearing your MouthPad^. Drinking hot liquid may affect the fit of the appliance. Please remove the device prior to eating for optimal performance, fit, and longevity.
Please also avoid chewing or biting on the device.
For the safety and longevity of the battery, be sure to charge your MouthPad^ in room-temperature conditions and unplug the case once charging is complete. For best practices, charge your device as soon as it runs out of battery to prevent it from draining to zero.
We recommend cleaning your MouthPad^ daily before and after every use. Immediately after removal, use warm water (not to exceed 45°C/113°F) and soap to remove remaining saliva and debris from the device.
Ensure you dry your appliance prior to storing it in the provided charging case to prevent bacterial or fungal growth.

For periodic removal of debris and maintenance, you can use any mild over-the-counter cleaning agents designed for oral devices. If needed, use a soft bristle brush to clean the inside of your appliance for debris removal. Some of the validated* cleaning agents include Dawn dish soap, Polident, Efferdent, 3% peroxide solution, 15% bleach solution, and non-alcoholic mouthwash.
