The app’s main screen (shown on Apple OS below) will be key to mastering your MouthPad^. Here, you can visualize tongue movements and pressure changes in real-time, see what commands are being presently activated, and access your MouthPad^s settings to adjust how your device is controlled.

The mouse icon and the 3 buttons at the top of the screen show the gestures you are presently activating. You can use this feedback to understand how to trigger a command — like the length of time needed to trigger Pause, for example.
The middle section has a visualization that helps you understand what the tongue trackpad is detecting in real-time — see the grid of yellow shapes. This is useful for practicing your tongue movements & gestures and to get a sense of which settings need to be changed to improve your experience.
The little light blue dot shows where the MouthPad^ thinks the center of your tongue touch is on the trackpad — this is the exact position used by the algorithms in the MouthPad^ to control your mouse. The little box in the middle is the idle-zone, where your tongue can rest without activating any cursor movement or scrolling.
The line graph at the bottom of the screen indicates the force you are placing on the MouthPad^, with the middle (blue) line representing your active tongue-pressure level.
The MouthPad^ adapts to the natural changes in pressure in your mouth. For this reason, it’s sometimes necessary to recalibrate your sensors, especially when you notice the MouthPad isn’t correctly registering your clicks or detecting your tongue.
