⚠️
We can work with any dental or orthodontic office with an intraoral 3D scanner (the wand-type camera, not an X-ray) and the ability to scan your palate. Before scheduling your scan, be sure to send your provider the guide below:

Use a personal dentist:
We recommend working with a personal dentist for your scan. Please explain to your provider that you’ve ordered the MouthPad^ — a “smart retainer” for tongue-based computer control. Ask if they have an intraoral 3D scanner, such as the iTero or TRIOS machines (not an X-ray!)
Find a new dentist:
Our dental partners advise a general oral exam and cleaning before your scan ****as well as regular checkups. (See our MouthPad^ screening guidelines for more information.) For this reason, we recommend all users have a personal dentist that takes your insurance while using the device.
- We keep a list of dentists and orthodontists that have taken MouthPad^ scans in the past. Feel free to explore the database below to see if we have a suitable provider near you:

- Call dentists in your area! Tell them that you’ve ordered the MouthPad^: a “smart retainer” for tongue-based computer control. Ask if they have an intraoral 3D scanner, such as an iTero or Trios (not an X-ray).
- Let the office know if you are interested in becoming a regular patient. Many users are able to schedule a new-patient exam, cleaning, and MouthPad^ scan on the same day.
- The first couple offices you contact may decline due to unfamiliarity with our technology; Third one’s the charm, in many cases!
- If you have trouble finding a dentist with the right machine, try calling orthodontic centers that offer Invisalign — they are likely to have the scanner we need.
- With your preferred office, please share our scanning guide and proceed with final steps here.
