For Dentists: MouthPad^ Scanning

</aside>

Hello! We are excited to make your custom MouthPad^. The next step will be getting your intraoral 3D scan: a common dental process, typically done for night guards and retainers. (We’ll need a unique scan for your MouthPad^, though, with an image of the palate.)

Many users are able to visit their personal dentist or orthodontist for the scan. Here is a sample image of the scanning process, which usually takes around 5-20 minutes.

Please note: We do not coordinate scan payment or appointments. An intraoral scan usually costs between $70-$200 out of pocket — but it can sometimes be covered by insurance.

If you need any help or your dentist has any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. Thank you!
